"Building Oklahoma 2009" - Exhibitor Registration

The Oklahoma chapter of the American Institute of Architects is pleased to announce the 2009 Fall Convention and invites you to join us at this 14th annual event. Each year, suppliers like you spend thousands of dollars to receive name recognition and to place product information in front of the right audience. Let the AIA Oklahoma Convention bring that audience to you. It’s the most important industry event in the region for anyone whose target market includes architects. Joining with AIA Oklahoma on the first day of events will be general contractors and consulting engineers, who are members of AGC Oklahoma and ACEC Oklahoma.

When and Where?  Thursday and Friday, November 5-6, 2009
The  Watkins Center -- Oklahoma State University --  Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Who Sponsors This Event?      AIA Oklahoma is the state component of the American Institute of Architects in Oklahoma and represents over 525 of the state’s 725 licensed architects.

Why Exhibit?     The tradeshow as a marketing medium is the most cost-effective way to reach potential customers.  The face-to-face communication is personal and provides for an exchange of information and questions.

Who Is My Audience?     This is the 14^th year AIA Oklahoma has sponsored the convention and the participation has been tremendous each year.  All Oklahoma-licensed architects – not just AIA members -- are invited.  Last year, over 260 architects attended the convention.  Also, attending on Thursday only will be general contractors and consulting engineers.

ACEC Oklahoma & Associated General Contractors of Oklahoma (AGC) Join In On Thursday!!  Joining AIAOK on Thursday, the first day of the convention, will be general contractors and consulting engineers affiliated with ACECOK and AGC.  This is the 5^th year that these two great organizations have participated in the first day of convention events.

What Are the Exhibit Space Rates?

PREMIUM Sponsor - $1,200 – exhibit 2 days
(November 5 AND 6)

Exhibit for 2 days (Thursday, November 5, and Friday, November 6) at a cost of $1,200 and have a unique opportunity to receive special recognition. For being a Premium Sponsor,  you will receive:   1) a three minute promotional presentation the day of the event; 2) recognition on all printed and electronic promotional materials prior to the event; 3) continued recognition throughout the day; 4) exhibit your products in a 8’X6’ tabletop exhibit area; 5) attend meals free; 6) the opportunity to include literature or “goodies” in each registration goodie bag; and, 7) a copy of the AIA Oklahoma membership list.

STANDARD Sponsor - $600 – exhibit 1 day
(either November 5 OR 6 only)

Exhibit for 1 day (either Thursday, November 5 OR Friday, November 6 – only 1 day) at a cost of $600.  For being a Standard Sponsor, you will receive:  1) exhibit your products in an 8’X6’ tabletop exhibit area; 2) attend the noon luncheon free; 3) the opportunity to include literature or “goodies” in each registration goodie bag; 4) recognition on all printed and electronic promotional material prior to the event; and, 5) continued recognition throughout the day.

What does the rental fee include?

• Up to 12 show hours if exhibiting during the entire convention

• Standard company identification sign

• A skirted 6’ table and two chairs

• Electric is available for an additional $30.00.  Let us know on your registration form.

• If you need special arrangements for additional set-up time, contact the AIA office and we will work to meet your needs.

Another Opportunity: Sponsor Design Awards Gala

This is the year that AIA Oklahoma also sponsors the 2009 Awards of Excellence – it’s biennial awards reception, banquet and gala, where the winners of the most prestigious statewide design awards are announced by jurors from around the nation.
