AIA Oklahoma Lifetime Achievement Award
This award is
presented to a current AIA Oklahoma member to recognize a
lifetime of distinguished leadership and dedication in
architecture and community. The Award is AIA Oklahoma’s highest
honor.
Nominations:
- A
completed AIA Oklahoma Honor Awards Nomination Form.
- All
exhibits must be submitted electronically by CD in
PowerPoint format.
- Letters of
Nomination/Recommendation not to exceed two (2) 8 ˝” X 11”
pages.
- Letters
should be explicit in their recommendation, summarize the
candidate’s contributions and contain specific reasons for
support, which may include:

Evidence
of the candidate’s great depth and breadth, having a
collective and influential effect on the profession of
architecture;

Contributions that have consistently been directed
toward the future as well as respectful of the past;

Aspects of
the nominee’s work or life experience that may have
reflected contributions or sensitivity concerning areas
of special interest to the Component, its members, and
the architecture profession.
- Additional
supporting items shall include:
- A
brief biography not to exceed two (2) 8 ˝” X 11” pages.
- A
statement/list of candidate’s achievements/awards not to
exceed two (2) 8 ˝” X 11” pages.

Miscellaneous material including clippings, articles,
etc., not to exceed three (3) 8 ˝” X 11” pages.
AIA Oklahoma
requests a digital image of the candidate in a high resolution
jpeg file.
